When you are on holiday in Puerto Alcudia, you must spend sometime visiting the Marina, as it really is quite breathtaking. It is located at the north most end of the town, at the point where the bay curves towards Alcanada. In the streets here behind the sea front, you will find many bars, cafes, gift shops, amusement arcades and also one of the main taxi stances.
This may also be a good time to visit the Information Bureau which is located in a timber building at the base of the bridge beside the Marina.
To achieve an impressive first view of the Marina at this Alcudiamar Centre, you should walk to the top of the bridge which straddles the entire area and from this point you will firstly sea the magnificent beach, which stretches as far as the eye can see. The total length of the beach is more than five miles long and it`s welcoming fine white sand and warm water is an attraction to everyone. When you are still on the bridge, turn your view towards the gentle motion of the sea lapping against the hulls of ships and in the huge harbour area beneath you, are hundreds of expensive yachts, safely moored in a secure area.
It really is a sight which you will not forget and of course you can take photographs from this ideal viewing area. The land alongside has been beautifully landscaped and there is a long wide boardwalk route, where you will find very attractive Restaurants and Cocktail Bars.
This is an area which is worth visiting either during the day or in the evening, when it would be just as attractive and certainly buzzing with enjoyment.
There are some good restaurants near the marina too.
