There are lots of things in Alcudia that are great for kids to do. To begin with the main beach there is very child friendly and safe with large open sandy beach and beautiful waters ideal for family fun. Around the beach, there area variety of pubs and hotels that are child friendly offering lots of places for families to eat and take a break as well as some evening entertainment suitable for families too. Many of the hotels will happily provide a packed lunch for you to take if you want to stay out for the day, and lots have kids clubs and family rooms available for use by patrons. Some bars in the area even have activity areas specially designed for children as well.
The El Laberinto Maze fun park is something a bit different and is aimed specifically at kids and families. The maze is cleverly designed from wooden panels so that it’s layout can be changed, and it’s more than just a place to get lost in or escape from, there are games to be played in it like the memory game where you have to remember pictures you’ve seen as you try to get out. There are all sorts of other things in there too from a water monster who squirts you if you’re not fast enough and pirates of the Mediterranean who will help chase off monsters for you. The attraction is popular with local children as well as tourists because of it’s ability to change and keep amusing people. It is open Every day from 10:30am till 10:30pm, May till October.
The Hidropark is an experience which most children love, it has a variety of slides and chutes of all different designs and to suit different ages as well as pools to enjoy and offers great family entertainment There are six different pools, including a wave pool, a beach pool, and an infant pool with climbing frames for the little ones. The site also has a Euro Bungee, Mini golf cars and mini motor boats. Just next door to the Hidropark is a 54 hole super golf course. Also on site are Restaurants and bar which are open all day or there is a large picnic area you can use, meaning that you can make a full day here if you want to. The Hidropark is open from 10:30am daily from May through to the End of October.
Racing Passion Karting situated within the Bellevue hotel complex is popular with kids and adults alike, it is Alcudia’s biggest and fastest karting track and is run by an ex formula one promoter and racing driver. It’s open from 9 in the morning right through until after dark when you can enjoy the thrill of karting by floodlight.
