Club Mac in Alcudia is a complex of three hotels, The hotel Jupiter, Marte and Saturno. It is a 3 star resort that is especially recommended for families. The complex is large covering 100,000 square metres and it offers a wide range of facilities to suit most varied tastes. What is even better, is that use of all these facilities comes as part of the price when you stay there
The resort is located just 1.5 kilometres from the port of Alcudia and a little under a kilometre from the beach. During the daytime the resort even offers a free shuttle bus to and from the beach so you don’t need to worry about tired little legs getting back to the hotel.
The hotel Saturno has 308 rooms 27 of which are family suites. It is in the northwest of the complex and has many views out over the port of Alcudia and the lakes, as well as plaza saturno which has a quiet square with views over the garden and swimming pool. The hotel Jupiter is the largest of the three with 434 rooms 44 of which are family suites. It lies to the northeast of the complex with the plaza Jupiter to the front of it. The hotel Marte is the smallest of the three with a mere 282 rooms. It stands between the other two hotels and looks out over the town and the complex.
Within the complex itself, as well as the hotels, there are two natural lakes where activities such as canoeing take place, and where you can take a pedalo out and enjoy the beauty of the lake from a different perspective. There are several swimming pools including one specially for those with children and one for water sports including water polo. The site also has a mini market come shop which sells many staples as well as a variety of souvenirs. There are sunbeds, lounge rooms, launderette, and internet access also provided.
The site is well known for it’s sporting activities, which include; badminton, mini golf, volleyball, 5-a-side football, boules, archery, rifle shooting, cycling. A number of wellness activity programs take place regularly too (adults only), including Tai Chi, aqua fitness, Massage, Pliates and much more. While you have a go at one or more of these activities, there is plenty to keep the kids amused so no need to worry there! There is a whole children’s village with playground, mini train, mini-club, shows and entertainment zone as well as a mini-disco.
Evening entertainment in the hotels includes cinema, stage shows, dancing and there is a bar within the complex as well for those who’d like to enjoy a quieter tipple in the evening. The resort also has a regular circus show.
The on site restaurant serves an all inclusive buffet style English breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits between 4-5pm and light meals can be provided anytime from 8am to midnight, with cold snacks available from midnight to 8am. Locally produced wine and beer are available with meals as well as a variety of soft drinks.
