Puerto de Alcudia is the large modern development which lines the northern part of Alcudia bay. There is a ferry port where you can catch a boat to Menorca and Barcelona as well as a very large beach.
Puerto de Alcudia is a great place for families due to the beach and excellent accommodation. Virtually all restaurants and cafes are family friendly and there are lots of family attractions within each distance of the port. (e.g Alcudia Hidropark).
There are many shops in the port geared towards the holiday industry as well as a weekly market in Alcudia on a Tuesday and Sunday.
There is lots of nightlife for younger people spread across the resort – with many popular bars, clubs and restaurants open late each night to entertain you.
