Inca is Majorca’s third largest city and is the heart of the leather industry on the island. Inca was once a Roman settlement but quickly developed in 1229 into a centre of manufacture for textiles, ceramics, shoes and wine.

There are a number of ways that you can get to Inca from Alcudia. If you are making your own way there and have a hire car then you simply need to follow the Ma13 motorway to Palma, otherwise you will be able to get one of the frequent public buses to Palma which stop at Inca.

If you find it easier to let someone else do the work then there a number of tour companies that will take you to Inca on shopping trips which you will be able to receive full details about at one of the tourist information centres in Alcuida.
